How it came to be!
Jaime had written a poem that she wanted to bring to life. We took her words and tried a few different directions for the song, but ended up on one that was more filled out, produced, and hi-fi. I had a number of friends in the Chicago music scene work on this track, and we did some of the engineering at Rax Trax, as well as a few other local studios. I don’t think anyone knew quite what this song would turn into and I’m really proud to have been a part of it.
